Study Permits
Requirements of a Study Permit holder:
- always be enrolled in a Designated Learning Institution
- make progress towards completing your educational program
- respect any conditions listed on your study permit (for example, conditions regarding work)
- stop studying if you no longer meet the requirements
- leave Canada when your study permit expires
* If you can’t finish your program before the expiration date on your study permit, you must apply to extend your permit
